Meet the Owners

Jim Fisher has been in the green industry for 18 years. He recieved a degree in turfgrass science from Penn State University. He worked in the golf course industry for 5 years before accepting a position in the landscaping industry for a large firm in West Chester Pennsylvania.

In 2005 Jim branched off on his own and created Cedarcrest Landscaping Service. After many years of performing full service landscaping , Jim noticed an abundance of his customers were inquiring more and more about Cedarcrest’s lawn fertilization program. Jim transitioned to specializing in just lawn care and put all his energy and focus into developing the perfect lawn program that so many customers were seeking. That’s why today, we have Cedarcrest Fertilizing.

Jason Cheek has come aboard to help continue to bring outstanding service and unequalled results to all our valued customers. Jason is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in Turfgrass Science. He has spent most of his career as a golf course superintendent, at several high-end golf courses. Jason has acquired a great deal of knowledge over his career growing and maintaining turfgrass at its highest possible level. Jason is excited to join Cedarcrest and looks forward to meeting you all.
